Why is my device pending?
There are two reasons a device could be pending. The first reason is if the device limit (number of paid licenses) has been exceeded. In which case you need to check with your account manager. The second reason is if the device registration has not been completed. When user downloads and opens the app, and clicks on “Login” and enters successfully the username and password of Account they wish to register the device, then the SurveyManager will create a pending serial number. They still have to complete the registration process which includes first telling the app whether this is a “New Device”, “Reinstall”, “Replacement Device” or “I’m Not Sure”. For first time users this will be “New Device” in which case they will have to fill out registration form. After filling out the registration form and clicking “Go” on Keyboard then they should get a pop-up telling them “Device Registered successfully” at which point the device will be active.
